Keshni Soorkia has obtained a prize in the art competition on the theme “living together with the ocean” organized by UNESCO through the IOC Sub Commission for Africa and the Adjacent Island States to mark World Oceans Day and the African Day of Seas and Oceans.

She will be able to meet oceanographers and researchers from all over the world as well as the other winners from this competition. Besides seeing Nairobi and the UN compound, she will have the chance to listen to the ongoing discussions on oceans related subjects and meet and greet with IOCAFRICA’s officers, directors and chairs.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM AWARD OF CERTIFICATE 2015

Students of Lower, Upper and form 3 have had the golden opportunity to attend this course and they were sucessfully rewarded, both in terms of a certificate offered and various skills learnt.

Students have learned fundamental business and economic concepts. They have explored career interests and opportunities and also developed work readiness skills.

This program has considerably helped students to become entrepreneurial thinkers and made them ready to join in the world of work.
