Windsor College Girls, the oldest institution of the south of the Republic of Mauritius, founded in 1949 and located at Rose-Belle, continues to contribute to the socio-economic aspect of the island. It has been empowering the local community with instruction and education, two vital components of a modern, civilized and disciplined society.
The educational institution comprises of a tailor-made building for school purposes in a conducive environment to impart knowledge and ways of life
the student population. Information Technology and modern educational tools adapted to our needs are the best practices used to attain the school’s objectives.
The mainstream (Forms I – VI) student population is mostly from the low income working class families with poor results at Certificate of Primary Education (CPE}. Through constant monitoring, hard work and close collaboration of the staff, School Certificate results recorded are always above 90%.
In addition to academic subjects, infrastructural and technical facilities such as a modern Computer Laboratory, and an Art Specialist room, the school offers physical and moral education, pastoral care and various extra-curricular activities. Moreover, it also provides education to a prevocational.
