DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Education, we all talk about it, make our career plans on the expected results achieved at the secondary levels. The Windsor College Girls (WCG) has been striving hard to help the students towards their path build-ups through a high standard and sound education since its onset some 65 years ago.
I am one of the privileged to be associated with the pioneer of WCG, Mr. Haroon Rajabalee in the evolution of the first private educational institution in the south of Mauritius. Its contribution to the society has been manifold including its empowerment in knowledge development, moral education, sports and other extra curriculum activities.
I am prone to confess that WCG has gracefully accomplished its mission with the help and efforts of a well trained and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff. The Management of the institution has left so stones unturned to promote a sound and high standard education through continual updated teaching practices to form a pool of better citizens of tomorrow.
Information technological approaches are used to teach the classroom subjects. Moreover, new subjects are regularly introduced to cater for the natural evolution in the educational and job sector. The most recently introduced are Travel and Tourism, Business Studies and Sports.
I would like to seize this opportunity of the WCG website ‘launching’ to encourage you all to continue to persevere towards the betterment of the student population and reach the level of excellence through a modern educational approach and use of best practices.
