Aims/Objectives (Hinduism/ Islamic studies)

 

  • Motivate candidates to develop an enquiring and critical approach to the study of fundamental questions of religious practices, beliefs, morality.

 

  • To inspire students by the lives and teachings of personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Tulsidas, Gautam Buddha, Swami Dayanand, Prophets Muhammad(Saw), Mosa and Ibrahim as lives and teachings are full of lessons for young minds.

 

  • A knowledge of religion and of  the people who shaped the evolution of its philosophy is essential during the period of adolescence when real physiological and psychological transformations are taking place in the individual.  This knowledge can carry the person through life with the sense of self respect and self- confidence.

 

Aims/Objectives  (Hindi/Urdu)

 

  • To speak the language with proper stress and intonation.

 

  • To enable students to narrate simple stories and to recite simple poems in Hindi/Urdu.
