DEPARTMENTS

The school is comprised of several academic departments which are chaired by the rector. The duties, importance and power of these departments are clearly laid out.

 

  • Regular meetings are held with Heads of Department

 

  • Pedagogical matters and school activities are discussed during these meetings.

 

  • Meetings and decisions taken or adjusted for further improvement.

 

  • Discussions are geared towards improvement  of students’ performance by analyzing the internal tests, mid-term and terminal examinations  results and also S.C.

  • Heads of Departments hold frequent meetings with their staff.

 

  • The Heads of Departments take note of the reports prepared by the respective teachers and discuss related issues during the meetings. A provisional work-plan for each subject is prepared or adjusted if it already exists and submitted to the rector for approval in the light of fresh information available from the teaching staff.

 

  • The adopted work-plan is then put into practice and coordinated by Head of departments. 

 

  • Weekly feedbacks from the teaching staff to their immediate supervisors are essential to monitor the work-plan progress and review. Thus communication is not only vertical but also lateral. Recorded minutes are available for future references.
