The Windsor College PTA association, founded in 1978  is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a school. It acts as a link among pupils, parents, teachers and the management of the school. The committee meets once monthly in the presence of the principal. 

 

A parent-teacher association (PTA) or parent-teacher-student association (PTSA) is

 

  • The main role of the PTA is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and the school, in support of students.

 

  •  It serves serve as venues for discussions about a variety of educational issues. 

 

  • The PTA is Involved in their children’s education and school life, share ideas and support school activities.

 

  • At Windsor College Girls the PTA has set up a parental watch operation system to ensure students’ security outside school premises.
